Thanks Dave, It was indeed MY pleasure meeting you. Needless to say, I am impressed with you and hope to make this a life time of great friendship! Be blessed!! Jim Boy+
I didn't realize that you were in Texas, let alone affected by Mr. Ike! Using the Superperformance ideas and ideals, this might be a gift presented as a wall of water and inconvenience. Dave, this country has been trying to put together a response team, not unlike the one needed during the horrible days of Katrina in Louisiana. Maybe this would be a good time to jot down all of your correspondence, your experiences, and your family and friends do the same. Perhaps, the Superperformance Group can offer the very best of not only response organization, but continued response as the days tinker by without electricity, refrigeration, money, gas, ATM's. Suggestions and comments are the first step to communication. You might just be the person to collect all of the possibilities where improvement or change can be made during this horrible ordeal.
My communication is: Everyone should own a two-way radio! A neighborhood that can communicate, will find the strength to help those in their midst. Like an old fashion wagon train, each of us will work to find the weakest link, and the chain reaction will sustain everyone. I am so sorry for your inconvenience and losses. You are, however, in a great place for learning and then teaching! Best to you, Dave, as always, Kitty
Hurricane Ike Update:
Debbie, Lauren our 16 year old granddaughter, two horses, two dogs and I left dickinso Thursday morning for Camp Coyote in Huntsville. Hurricane winds knocked out power there Saturday morning. I had my generator with us so no problem. we rode horses Friday, Sunday and Monday so not a bad evacuation experience.
Regular pasture for horses is in San Leon which is still restricted access. We found pasture in Alvin for them and returned Tuesday evening. House is essentially un damaged but no power, again I have my generator so no major problem, weather being cool negates need for AC. No hot showers, but that is a minor thing compared to what people just 19 miles south in Galveston are dealing with.
Camp Coyote runs summer camps and has a confidence course and horseback riding. Also a nice swiming pool and tennis court. Might make a good offsite team building location if people don't mind living in bunk houses (good team building environment?)

call my mobile (281-704-8302) anytime tomorrow morning. I'll probably be writing from 7:30am until about 9:30am. If you're not free around that time, let me know and we'll set another time up.
Dave,
I met you at the CUNA HR/TD conference in Boston in April. Thank you for recognizing that organizations are the product of their culture. It is hard to make the case for that in many organizaon, especially when the economy is affecting the bottom line. Wendy
My wife is going thru pictures now to find a fun one to post. Thanks for the invite to join, I miss our discussions. Have you made any progress breaking into the oil industry? I have emailed Jeff Johnson at bP from time to time and he is a rising star there in Alaska. Maybe we could make a pitch to him about improvement. He was one of the CoP trainees in their Superperformance effort. I think I could be pivotal in this effort as I may be able to identify the tipping point for turning theory into practice for them. we just need to get in the door. Let me know your thoughts!!!
i am still in awe with all you have accomplished and the wonderful company you have built. It is truly a testiment to your commitmen to excellence that you and your team have accomplished so much.
Thank you for making time to chat with you yesterday,
Wow! Thats a great opportunity. Let me know what date and time works for a discussion. How about this thursday Aug 7 or friday Aug 8 at 7.30pm EST (6.30pm CST).
On the site, the Google time has PM when it is AM in Houston. Is this correct or the time in another part of the world that Corpus Optima is synchronized with?
We are doing great. I've got a picture of Alyson I'd like to send. Bounce back your e-mail link and I'll shoot it over. How's your beautiful wife and crumb snatchers?
